As I wrote in Tuesday’s Raw Deal I am here to post your thoughts on the return of The Rock. I have compiled a lot of comments via twitter, facebook and email. Before we get to that, though, I’m excited to announce that we’ve just launched a youtube channel for The John Report. What we’ll do on the youtube channel is provide audio commentaries (15 minutes in length unless there are multiple parts) and post them periodically. There’s no set schedule as of yet, but if you subscribe to the channel at youtube.com/thejohnreportnet you’ll get the updates as soon as we post new content.
The first video is about The Rock. It’s hosted by myself and my PPV writing partner David Kay. He asks me a lot of questions about The Rock’s return, what his future might be and what kind of impact he really made on those of us in the WWE Universe. I’ll post the video below and you can listen to it while you read the comments if you want. Or listen whenever you want! Up to you. I realize the podcasts we did were long, but I did enjoy the audio experience, so I figured let’s go for shorter takes on a more public place like youtube. Enjoy!

Haha, I thought I’d put that up in a funny way (thanks to my buddy Hector for writing that). Basically it means that I’m not doing TheJohnReport.net podcast anymore. I went into it thinking I’d give it a try as something new. I liked it, but I didn’t love it. After looking at the numbers on the site and thinking about the time it took to do, I’ve decided to end it. It made me realize I should focus even more on my writing because that’s what you, the reader, is here for. I like writing about wrestling. And that’s enough for me for now.

I did an interview with the Under The Tights radio show that aired live on Wednesday at 2pmET/11pmET. On the show I talked about my history as a wrestling fan, my history writing about wrestling, my opinions on many things as it relates to wrestling, talk about Trish Stratus, Mickie James, MMA compared to wrestling, John Cena turning heel and a lot of other random stuff. Last week there was no TJR podcast because I was in Mexico. Tonight I return with Jason Lynch to possibly share a few stories from Mexico (including my night at a lucha libre show) and of course talk about the wrestling business. As always we will wrap it up with your questions. Feel free to ask them here. We will mostly go with the wrestling ones, but if you want to venture off topic and be funny about it we could ask that too. It gets recorded at about 10pmET, so anything before that is possible.
