All fair points man. Benefiting from nepotism can be a double edged sword that way. After month's worth of cryptic and and very effective vignettes are shot and aired, Wrestler A finally debuts with a cutting edge and controversial new gimmick, that plays out over several weeks. Finally, on the eve of Wrestler A's big in ring return at one of the company's most time-honored and prestigious events, he provides some insight into his purpose, vowing only to "change the world." Then, at said prestigious event, he appears toward the end, dicks around in the ring for a few minutes, then gets beaten and retreats meekly to the back, never once accomplishing anything of any significance. Then ask yourself, why should anyone watching WWE give a fuck about Wrestler A (Now renamed the amputee from having his legs so hideously cut out from under him by the promotion) going forward? But don't worry folks, the next night we're gonna let the Amputee come out and hit one move on the champ and leave. So that makes everything alright, right? That's better than the months worth of build that we scrapped in one night that you were dumb enough to invest in as a viewer , right?
